You sure can write at length about the way your career has progressed till date, but be careful not to rewrite your resume in the form of an essay. Your resume and all the objective information you will fill in the application form would highlight everything you did in college and at work. This essay should project specific traits and experiences that you believe will convince the admissions committee about your ability to achieve your career goals.

If you seek an entrepreneurial career, show how you have increasingly taken new initiatives in your work assignments, contributed with your ideas, and executed challenging projects by persuading others on your views.
After writing your career goals, figure out the skills, abilities and experiences that are necessary to succeed in your future roles. Show how you have been able to build and demonstrate these skills and abilities in your work assignments and gained experiences that will allow you to succeed in your future roles together with the ISB MBA experience. The challenge is to describe different experiences that project specific skills and abilities in just a few sentences.
